The IM Symposium People's Choice Information Innovation Award is designed to recognize Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plans that have made significant achievements in providing business value or innovation with a proven information-based solution. myRegence.com received the award for its treatment cost estimator, which provides members with price estimates for common medical treatments based on their benefits and the providers they choose.
2011 Best Website Overall Content from the Internet Marketing Association
The Internet Marketing Association recognizes businesses that demonstrate superiority in developing Internet marketing strategies and campaigns. myRegence.com was being honored for the online tools and resources it provides to help members make informed decisions about health care and lead healthier lives.
2011 Web Health award
myRegence.com provider search tool with Patient Reviews has received a 2011 Gold Award by Web Health Awards, which cited it as the finest directory, rating or guide in the health insurance industry.
2011 Start! Fit Friendly Company, Platinum Level, with Community Innovation award, American Heart Association (AHA)
For the fourth year in a row, Regence was awarded the AHA platinum level for workplace wellness. The innovation award—one of only eight given nationally—recognizes the Passport to Wellness program designed to keep employees engaged. Start! 2011 Awards of Distinction, Communicator Awards
The myRegence.com web site was recognized in both the Health and Insurance categories, for the Meet the Cheese Makers video, and for the interactive slideshow Grieving Through Art, for a total of four awards. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement. The Communicator Awards receives over 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. 2011 video, interactive and website Davey Awards
The myRegence.com site was recognized at the Davey Awards, with a gold award for the video Health and a Haircut; silver awards for videos Under the Bridge and Free to Be Happy; and a silver award for the interactive Phobias From A to Z. Davey Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms. 2011 Silver medal, In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association/In-Plant Graphics magazine
Regence's Print Services team earned a silver medal in 2011, out-competing more than 400 entrants in its first-ever award from this competition.
2011 Outstanding Achievement, Interactive Media Awards
Our online Community was recognized in the Social Media category. The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development. Nominations are accepted from around the world from web design firms, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments, as well as individual web designers and graphic artists. 2011 Silver Award, W3 Awards, International Academy of the Visual Arts
The myRegence.com site received a Silver Award in the Website: Insurance category. W3 Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs. Websites are judged on creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design, and ease of use. Winning entries are selected by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. 2011 Customer Achievement Award, Wausau Financial Systems
Regence's Cash Management team was recognized for its work in automating and improving the handling of online premium payments from members and small groups. Regence competed against other Wausau customers in demonstrating creativity and innovation in streamlining the electronic payment process.
2011 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association
The WebAward competition is a global website development contest, with entries reviewed by industry experts across the world. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology. myRegence.com scored near perfect marks in both the content and interactivity categories.
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon
2011 Star of Broadcast Advertising, Oregon Association of Broadcasters
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon was recognized for developing and sponsoring a campaign through KOBI-TV (Medford, Ore.) to inspire high school students to produce videos challenging their peers to become more fit. Regence funded scholarships for the top three winners and fitness equipment for the winning schools, as chosen by a panel comprised of local civic leaders.
