In the event of a disaster declaration at the county, state or federal level, Regence offers extra support for care and medication needs, depending on the type of disaster and where you live. When you call Customer Service, we will work with you to make sure you’re able to refill your prescriptions, replace lost or destroyed medical equipment, and get in-person or virtual care—so you have one less thing to worry about.
During an emergency, most members can fill prescriptions at any pharmacy, even if it’s out of the network, and get early or replacement refills. We’ll work with you to make sure you have the medications you need. If any authorizations are required, our Customer Service team will coordinate with your provider on your behalf. If the provider is unavailable due to the emergency, our emergency-fill process allows for a three-day supply of medications. Controlled substances and opiates require a different protocol.
Pharmacy Customer Service is available 24/7. Call us at the number on the back of your member ID card. Contact us now >
While we urge you to use in-network facilities to avoid balance billing, or surprise additional costs, you may be able to receive emergency medical care at your normal in-network rates through out-of-network facilities. Contact us to confirm your options. This may not apply to older health plans.
For non-emergency care, you may be able to get support through virtual care options. Sign in to see the options included in your plan.
If you have questions about finding care or replacing lost or broken medical equipment, or if you need to provide updated contact information, please call us at the number on the back of your member ID card.
