The national health expenditure is expected to approach $3 trillion in 2012. Rising health costs place continuing pressure on families, employers and the nation.

Title III of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will launch pilot programs that are anticipated to curb the rise of health care costs, which is critical to delivering effective, affordable care for all.
