2025 Medicare Advantage and Part D certification training

June 25, 2024

To remain compliant with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, we require that producers certify annually to sell our Medicare Advantage and Part D prescription drug plans.

On July 9, you'll receive an email invitation to complete your 2025 Medicare Advantage and Part D certification. You can access the training site at that time.

You must recertify to sell and receive commissions for 2025 Medicare Advantage and Part D products and to receive renewal commissions on existing Medicare Advantage business. You must complete the certification training by Sept. 15, 2024.

Beginning with 2025 certification we will only accept training from AHIP to satisfy the National Medicare and Fraud, Waste and Abuse training requirement. The national training and our training together satisfy the Medicare Advantage training requirements.

For questions or assistance with certification training, please contact Medicare Agent Support by email at RegenceMedicareSales@regence.com or 1-800-557-0555 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Prioritizing preventive care: Reminder mailings launching this summer

Preventive care isn't just about staying healthy—it's about investing in long-term wellness and avoiding costly health complications down the road. That’s why we’re making it easier for our members to stay up to date on their preventive care with a series of reminder mailings launching this summer.

In mid-June, Medicare Advantage members who haven’t yet had an Annual Wellness Visit will receive a mailer reminding them to schedule their appointment. The mailer will also suggest a few topics members can discuss with their provider during their wellness visit, including physical and mental health, fall prevention and bladder control. Members will receive a colorectal cancer and/or breast cancer screening reminder mailing in July if they’re overdue for those services.

In August, all Medicare Advantage members will be mailed a personalized Preventive Care Scorecard with a list of important preventive services, such as Annual Wellness Visits and cancer screenings, to let them know which services they’ve already completed and which ones they may still need to get.

These reminders are part of our commitment to helping our members stay proactive about their health. We appreciate your continued support in promoting preventive care. By encouraging your clients to prioritize their annual checkups and preventive services, you're supporting their health outcomes and helping our members live healthier, happier lives.
