Use our health plan benchmarking data to help inform groups’ 2026 plan decisions

March 25, 2025

Want to know how your Regence customers’ health plans compare to industry benchmarks? With our health plan benchmarking reports, you can see how your groups’ plans measure up in key plan design features like deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, coinsurance and copays. You’ll learn valuable insights that can help you better inform your groups’ plan decisions for 2026.

Our health plan database—encompassing nearly 25,000 Regence commercial group plans with more than 1.2 million active enrollees—enables you to compare your groups’ plans by:

  • State—Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington or any combination of two, three or all four states.
  • Line of business—Fully insured, self-funded or both.
  • Group size—1-50 (2-50 in Idaho), 51-100, 101-200, 201-500 or 501+.
  • Standard industrial classification (SIC) code—Where sample sizes include a minimum of 10 plans, compare your groups’ plans at the broad SIC division level and/or the 2-digit major industry SIC level.

All data are current as of January 2025, and each benchmark is compared to January 2020 data for trending analyses.
